Alchemy update: safer inventory handling
Alchemy now preserves the previous inventory state when a start or cancel request cannot be sent.
When an action cannot be sent
A released Alchemy update changes how the interface handles a start or cancel request that cannot be sent. The previous inventory state is preserved, and a refused start no longer leaves the inventory marked as busy for an operation that did not begin.
Accepted actions remain separate
An action that has already been accepted, or whose outcome is uncertain, is not treated as an unsent request. The interface keeps track of that action while its result is being resolved. This update does not change Alchemy success rates, item requirements or enhancement rules.
What players should do
Reload the game before checking the updated behavior. If Alchemy or the inventory still appears stuck, record which action you attempted and what the interface showed. Avoid assuming that an interrupted response means an accepted action was cancelled. The fix is focused on start and cancel handling, not every Alchemy issue.
